Admission Process at JCER Belagavi
Admission to JCER’s B.E. programs is offered through Karnataka’s state-level and national entrance exams. Follow these five steps to secure your seat:

Register and appear for KCET, COMEDK UGET, or PGCET (for PG/MBA programs) as applicable to your course.

Check Your Rank & Shortlist
Once results are declared, review your rank/score and shortlist your preferred branch at JCER (CSE, AI&ML, ECE, ME or CE).

Counselling & Seat Allotment
Participate in the respective counselling round (KEA/COMEDK) and confirm your seat allotment at JCER.

Document Verification
Visit the campus or the designated help centre with original marks cards, rank card, category/income certificates (if applicable), and ID proof for verification.

Fee Payment & Admission Confirmation
Pay the admission fee to confirm your seat and complete enrolment formalities with the admissions office.
Eligibility Criteria and Admission Procedure
In the admission procedure, allotment of seats and fees structure for all the seats, our College strictly adheres the order of the Government of Karnataka amended from time to time and prevalent at the date of admission. As per the order of the Government of Karnataka, the allotment and distribution of the seats are as follows:
45%
of the seats are filled by the Government of Karnataka through Common Entrance Test (CET).
30%
of the seats are filled through entrance test conducted by the COMED-K.
25%
of the seats are filled by Management.
Admission through COMED-K

Student should have passed II PUC / 12th Standard or equivalent examination, with English as one of the languages, and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics/ Computer Science. In case of SC/ST and OBC (Cat-1,2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B category) students from Karnataka, the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 40%.
Student should have cleared the entrance test conducted by the COMEDK.
Admission through CET

Student should have passed II PUC / 12th Standard or equivalent examination, with English as one of the languages, and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics/ Computer Science. Student should have cleared the entrance test conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka – KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test).
Admission through Management
